5 Links – We are a Japanese company that manufactures specialized folding bicycles. The demand for reduced CO2 emissions and a healthier mode of transportation is growing worldwide. Cycling is fun and environmentally friendly, but there are limits to how far you can travel from home. Therefore, we have set ourselves the goal of making it possible to travel anywhere by bicycle, even in combination with all other modes of transport such as train, bus, car, and plane. We call this concept PUV – Personal Urban Vehicle. The name 5LINKS reflects our desire to connect the bicycle with the five modes of transport – walking, train, car, ship, and even plane – thus enabling travel on the five continents of the world.
