Frisch is a Berlin-based company that produces jackets from felted wool with special functions for cycling. The jackets, which are sewn in Berlin, are made from knitted and boiled wool, mainly in GOTS quality. The zips with polished teeth come from Switzerland. Wool is a functional fibre that is often copied but never achieved. The ratio of windproofness to breathability is optimal in woolwalk, making it the best outer layer for (almost) any weather. Frisch was founded by architect Ulrike Dorn and fashion designer Jürgen Frisch and runs its own shop in Berlin. ‘I prefer living in colour’ (David Hockney)
