In the summer of 2023, Pinion introduced the Pinion E-Drive System as a world first. It is a motor-gearbox unit that combines a powerful electric motor with proven Pinion gearbox technology and electronic shifting of up to 12 gears in a compact package to create an entirely new drive system for e-bikes. Development, production, and sales of Pinion gearboxes and drives are carried out in Denkendorf near Stuttgart. Top quality, flawless function, and durability are the highest priorities.
