Bicycle Lighting Made in Germany SON stands for high-quality hub dynamo lighting for everyday use as well as demanding long-distance rides. Our products combine thoughtful engineering, high efficiency, and exceptional reliability – even under the most challenging conditions. In Tübingen, around 50 bicycle enthusiasts develop, manufacture, and assemble all SON products with great attention to detail and consistently made in Germany. Our highlight: the Ladelux – a hub dynamo headlight with integrated high beam and USB charging function. It can draw up to 14 W from the hub dynamo. An integrated buffer battery keeps the high beam available independently of speed, and the fully integrated charging electronics allow convenient charging of USB devices via a robust magnetic connector on the handlebar switch – all while keeping the weight comparable to conventional headlights.
