Trovador was founded in Milan in 2025 with the ambition of creating a Folk Bicycles Factory, a laboratory of creativity where there is no fear of experimentation and where mechanics and materials are governed by imagination and culture. The word Folk sums up the essence of our message: every bicycle we produce has a story behind it, and is in turn made to tell new stories. For us, cycling is an experience similar to writing a song or preparing a traditional dish: we carefully select the ingredients, not afraid to think outside the box; we draw inspiration from the richest, most recognizable sources, without fear of expressing what we like and where we come from; in the simplicity of our creations, we offer the spontaneous refinement of our imagination. Thanks to a team of enthusiasts, even before designers, engineers, and experienced technicians, we produce touring, gravel, bikepacking, single-speed, and fixed-gear bikes because we recognize in these models the same spirit of freedom that guides us, the same desire to find our unique and recognizable place on the roads and trails that await us. This is how Trovador Bikes are born: in a wonderful balance of workshop tools, work tables, books, vinyl records, posters, and video games. Because we believe that inspiration is the true, irreplaceable, unlimited fuel that drives the bicycle beyond itself.
