Founded in 1982 in Marin County, California, WTB is a pioneering MTB brand. At that time, in the early 80s, there was a lack of high-quality mountain bike accessories because MTBs were rather rare whimsicalities, not established bike models. The three founders, including Mark Slate, nevertheless took on the challenge of developing durable components. Successfully! WTB also bravely took on the gravel bike market and is now one of the most successful brands in this field. Sport Import is WTB distributor since 2019.
